Reusable Jute Shopping Bag - Save Our Bees

This long-lasting and functional jute shopping bag has been hand-screen printed by Fair Trade producers in Kolkata, India. Their aim is to improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged people in developing countries, benefiting local community projects and keeping alive traditional skills. Jute is 100% recyclable and bio-degradable, and also the second most important vegetable fibre after cotton. It is a light, soft, and shiny plant fibre that can be spun into strong, coarse threads. The bag is yellow coloured jute with a bee design, Save Our Bees slogan and padded handles. Save Our Bees is an important message as without them we would lose will lose a third of our diet if our native bees die out. Bees are essential in pollinating the crops that form our food, and also the wild plants that grow across the country and provide food for much of our wildlife.
