Lanka Kade Wooden Rainbow Animals

This set of 8 fair trade rainbow animals are painted all over with bright colours, 1 of each; red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, purple and pink. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Sri Lanka from sustainably sourced rubber wood and non-toxic paints, children will love sorting, stacking, impersonating and playing with these chunky wooden animals, each 25mm thick.
Supplied in a net bag, perfect for small world play, story sacks and more. It can also be used to store them once playtime is over.
All of the sets are completely random and animals can't be guaranteed, you are only guaranteed the rainbow of colours.
Blemishes should be expected, these are part of the beauty of a natural wood product. Due to them being fully painted, if bashed or dropped they will be susceptible to general wear and tear.

The nature of lanka kade products occasionally leaves artisans with wood that cannot be used due to colour imperfections. Therefore, they have introduced this range of fully painted animals to utilise good cuttings and use wood that would otherwise go to waste.
Lanka Kade have direct trading relationships with their producers, and the director regularly travels to Sri Lanka to visit the artisans to ensure fair trade working practices are always being met and maintained. Workers have equal pay and Lanka Kade are committed to ensuring the employees have a sense of job satisfaction.
When you buy a Lanka Kade product, you also help to support their educational foundation which provides books and daily milk drinks to rural schools in Sri Lanka.
