Borax Substitute is a mineral compound with the perfect pH for cleaning and is gentler than Soda Crystals yet stronger than Bicarbonate of Soda.

When mixed with water lemon juice or white vinegar this makes an excellent scouring agent.
Slightly more cleaning power than Bicarbonate of Soda great for cleaning the bathroom.
Add Borax Sub & White Vinegar to plug-holes to fizz away debris.
A versatile and safe cleaner for a variety of cleaning tasks - use to wipe down surfaces & remove stains in the kitchen & bathroom or use for laundry needs.

Q: Does anyone have any experience of using this product for slime making (tween craze)? How does it compare with actual borax? Many thanks...

A: Hi, Thanks for the query. We've actually gotten in touch with the manufacturer about this in the past. Dri Pak do not recommend using this particular product for making slime. Skin irritation isn't an issue, but the substitute doesn't make slime very well and wouldn't be very fun. They recommend using Laundry Starch instead, which makes a fun and safe slime with no skin irritation. I hope that this has been helpful,
