This really works! You need a soap rack/dish to keep it dry between uses & catch drips, but it is great for getting grease off. Having used Ecover washing-up liquid for years & other similar brands, I was resigned to the fact that "green" options just didn't have quite the same grease-cutting power, but that was fine because I wasn't harming wild-life. This soap (used with a nice scrubby sponge) is much better. It works with a brush, too, but it's a bit harder to keep the soap-bar dry-ish. You do end up with a bowl of rather scummy-looking water, rather than a load of bubbles, once you have rinsed things, but if that water is safe to use on your plants, where's the problem? I'm not sure how long it will last - seems as if it will end up being relatively expensive, but in terms of cutting down your plastic it is a winner.
