Natracare

Natracare was first launched in the UK in 1989 as a direct response to health and environmental concerns about dioxin pollution caused by chlorine bleaching, the extensive use of pesticide spraying on conventionally grown cotton, and the use of rayon and other synthetics in menstrual products. Natracare’s range included the world’s first certified organic cotton tampons and totally chlorine-free pads and panty liners. When Natracare launched Safe to Flush wipes  they became the first to be certified 'Fine to Flush' by WATER UK.

Natracare’s multiple award-winning range of organic cotton baby wipes, tampons, pads, panty liners, nursing pads and intimate wipes are unique in that they are made from only certified organic and natural, sustainable and renewable materials. These biodegradable feminine hygiene products are fully compostable - traditional menstrual products are made from over 90% plastic which is not biodegradable and so will remain for decades in our environment.
