Our promise to you... pure Natural Products
At Spirit Of Nature we take great care in choosing high quality, organic and natural products - ecologically produced by reputable, ethical suppliers. By choosing natural, organic and fairly traded products, you are not only protecting the health of yourself and your family but also promoting sustainable farming methods, fair trade and a cleaner environment.
Organic Clothing
Cotton is the most heavily sprayed crop in the world. Pesticides can remain in the fibres even after washing and are easily absorbed by the skin, especially sensitive baby skin.
Our organic clothing is made from raw materials grown without the use of pesticides or other toxic substances. Our suppliers must be able to certify that their products really are organic clothes and there are no toxic residues. No chlorine bleach, chemical finishes or synthetic AZO dyes that can contain heavy metals or Benzidene are used. Buttons are primarily made from natural raw materials, and poppers and zips are nickel-free, reducing the risk of allergies. We also offer a growing range of organic baby clothes and adult fashion made from other ecologically produced, sustainable fibres, like hemp or bamboo. You certainly won't find any acrylic or polyester in our clothing or bedding!
Organic Cosmetics, Organic Make-up and Beauty Products
Our organic makeup and organic skin care products are made with natural and organically grown ingredients. Unlike many off-the-shelf beauty and make-up products that claim to be "natural", our products are actually certified natural and organic: your guarantee that they are free from petrochemicals, SLS's, synthetic preservatives, perfumes and dyes. They are dermatologically tested on humans and have not been tested on animals. Organic beauty and make-up products you can trust which are kinder to your skin and the environment!
Natural Hair Care
Pamper yourself with our collection of natural hair care products. Organic shampoos, organic conditioners all made with natural ingredients, free from synthetic colours or preservatives.
Baby Nappies
We sell the most popular ECO disposable nappies and soft washables, reusable and real nappies. Our ECO disposable nappies are better for the environment because they biodegrade within a much shorter time than conventional disposable nappies. Our washable, real nappies are made from organic raw materials like organic cotton, natural bamboo or organic wool, and we offer several different systems to choose from. Please also read Baby Nappies - choosing the right eco nappies for your baby and our Nappy Advice Guide about using and changing real nappies. Wooden Baby Toys for pre-school children
All toys are made using replenishable raw materials that are fully biodegradable. Our wooden baby toys are designed with non-toxic colours and finishes and are certified safe for small children. You certainly won't find any plastic toys in our collection and many of our wooden baby toys have won awards either for quality or for their educational value.
Fair Trade Products
Many of our fairly traded products are hand made and hand embellished by local craftsmen and women living in small communities in developing countries around the world. They very often use either naturally occurring raw materials or materials that have been recycled – like reclaimed wood, recycled saris, recycled glass beads etc. Textiles are often free from AZO dyes and synthetic materials. Please help us to support these wonderful people and say NO to poverty.
